Text messages from AutoShop Media

AutoShop Media (Auto Shop Media Inc.) is a recruiting agency for independent auto repair shops. We text two groups of people, and only after they agree to get texts: people who applied for a technician or service advisor job through us, and the owners of the shops we recruit for. This page shows how people agree, what we send, and how to stop.

Every text is about a job application or an interview. We never send marketing or promotions. We never sell phone numbers, and we never share them or anyone's consent with anyone for their marketing.
How people agree to texts
Agreeing to texts is always optional. It is never required to apply, to book a call, to be hired or to work with us. Every text message box starts unticked.
1. On our jobs page
Job seekers can apply with the sign-up form on our jobs page. It has this optional box, and they can send the form without it:

2. On our booking page
We send each applicant a personal link to book a phone call or a shop interview. The booking page has this optional box, and they can book without it:

3. By texting us first
Applicants can text our recruiting number, (740) 923-4281, which is listed on our jobs page next to this notice:
By texting us, you agree to get text messages from AutoShop Media about your job application and the jobs you ask about. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Texting us is not required to apply or be hired.
4. Shop owners, on our shop owner page
Owners of the shops we recruit for sign up for interview alerts on our shop owner page, with their mobile number and this optional box:

We text a shop owner only at the mobile number they agreed with.
The first text we send anyone names AutoShop Media and says how to opt out, for example:
- AutoShop Media: Hi Mike, thanks for texting us. What kind of job are you looking for? Reply STOP to opt out.

- Hi Mike, you're set to interview with Joe's Auto Repair at 120 Main St on Tuesday at 2:00 PM. Reply here if anything changes. Reply STOP to opt out.
To shop owners
- AutoShop Media: New interview set: Mike Smith, Lead Technician, 8 years, on Tue, Oct 21 at 2:00 PM ET. Phone: (555) 555-0142. Notes: ASE certified, has his own tools. Reply STOP to opt out.
- Reminder: you have an interview with Mike Smith (Lead Technician, 8 years) tomorrow at 2:00 PM ET. Their number: (555) 555-0142.
Stop or get help
- Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, QUIT or UNSUBSCRIBE to stop. You'll get one text confirming it, then no more.
- Reply START to get texts again.
