Text message terms

1. What the program is

AutoShop Media recruits technicians and service advisors for independent auto repair shops. If you're a job applicant, our texts are about your own job application: a link to book a short phone call with a recruiter, confirmations and reminders for that call and for shop interviews, follow-ups after an interview, and one-to-one replies from your recruiter. If you're a shop owner, our texts are about candidates for your shop: a new interview booked, reminders before it and a follow-up after it. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

2. How you join

You get our texts only after you agree to them, in one of these ways:

• Ticking the optional text message box on the sign-up form on our jobs page.
• Ticking the optional text message box on our booking page when you book a call or interview.
• Texting our recruiting number, (740) 923-4281.
• For shop owners: ticking the optional text message box on our shop owner sign-up form.

Agreeing to texts is not a condition of applying, booking, being hired or working with us. You can see each way in full on our Text messages page.

3. How often we text

Message frequency varies, for example when a call or an interview is booked.

4. Costs

AutoShop Media does not charge for texts. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier, according to your plan.

5. How to stop

Reply STOP to any of our texts to stop getting them. You can also reply END, CANCEL, QUIT or UNSUBSCRIBE. We'll send one text confirming you're unsubscribed, then no more. To start again, reply START.

6. Help

Reply HELP to any of our texts for help. You can also call (760) 990-1692 or email [email protected].

7. Carriers

Texts work on all major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and coverage.

8. Your number

You confirm that you own the mobile number you give us or have permission to use it. If you change or give up that number, reply STOP first or tell us, so the texts don't reach someone else.

9. Privacy

We never sell your phone number, and we never share your number or your consent to texts with anyone for their marketing. See our Privacy policy for how we handle your information.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects how we text you, we'll tell you by text, and you can reply STOP at any time.
